Helpful Homework Hints for All!
1. Second Graders should be doing their homework in an open space, like the dining room or kitchen table.
2. Have them read the directions out loud to you and ask them if they understand what is required to complete the assignment.
3. Please have your child correct misspelled current and past spelling words AND incorrect math facts as quickly as possible to prevent bad habits from forming.
4. Have them use the proper vocabulary when giving answers to math problems. It will help them understand the directions in the future.
