A few notes about using this website:
Please remember that this is a resource for you. I still expect the students to be responsible for and take care of their weekly word lists and homework folders.
Also, predicting and critical thinking are important life skills and large parts of our days here at school. Please use this board as a way to recap your son or daughter's day at school, rather than preparing them for the next day. It is extremely important that I am able to assess their beginning knowledge BEFORE we begin the lesson in order to know how to steer my lessons in the right direction. I ask you to please be respectful of this and only use the topics listed as a way to engage your children in conversation after they have learned the lessons. At the dinner table and before bed are great times to reinforce previously learned information. Now when they say they did "nothing" at school, you can say you know better!
